this has been suggested before, you'll find the idea in the stickies. The resulting action lead Anet to add in a constant reminder every hour that you play.

I'd like to see an in-game metronome in the form of a blinking light attached to the radar, but that's just me. I don't know if it's ever been suggested before, but I'd like to see it ^_^

I've just learnt to shut out the Take-A-Breaks, an in game clock would let me notice when its getting too late.. One minute it's only 2am, the next it's 5am and I've already doomed myself to waste half the next day sleeping.

Is it so hard to hit Alt + tab, glance at the clock in the system tray and Alt + tab again? hehehe

I came up with idea a while ago, I also had an idea of the brightness and weather changing along with it, but it was more or less 50/50, some people liked it, some people didn't, but most agreed on a clock in the acutally game.

I'd love if they were to implement a /time emote that would bring up the current time.

It's not that it's too hard to alt+tab into your desktop to check the time, but sometimes you may not be in the position to. Maybe you're in a Masters run and you want to check how well your group is doing? I know it'd be unappreciated if you did it then.

And, in my case, I'm not running GW on the best of computers. Frequently when I alt+tab out of GW it takes Windows a minute to load up everything on the desktop before I can alt+tab back. That can be deadly if you're trying to check during a mision or match as well.

I like the idea of a time emote

/time

"Puddin Cheeks looks at his SunDial, To reveal ##:##)

This would also be a sarcastic way to send a message to your party to hurry the *bleep* up while your going for Masters

I would actually prefer a countdown timer or countup timer of some sort that you could turn on and off with a function key. Up until factions this wouldn't be a big deal but since the missions are time based for masters (hate that), some in-game method to keep track of your time would be nice.
Actual clock /notsigned you can just look at a watch/clock/computer/cellphone on the wall.

That's what /yawn and /bored are for Don't like the mote idea much anyway, I and many others never keep their emotes text showing, so I wouldn't see it in the chat window anyway if you did the emote.

Umm..That actually has more to do with foreign legislation regulating how long you can play computer games at 1 time.

they could just add a drop down menu to the options window for you to select your time zone

My point was that if it were on the screen I'd notice when I should really be going to bed. Which reminds me.. 2:25am, nighty night all. ^_^

Ummmm..I just use a watch. Or look at the bright glowing face of my clock.
A clock with no other purpose would be kinda not worth the effort in the game. If it were a count-up or one to show the in-game time/passing of day/night or something I'd have to think about it. But it would be a lot more work for them to program in a simple clock than it would be to simply flip my wrist over.

It would be sweet if there was a Day/Night with a clock that applied to it. With some quests only being able to be completed at certain times, and what not.
